The annual campaign

$17,440 raised of $50,000 · 11 gifts · 40 days left
Everything at our Chabad house is free: Friday night dinners, Tuesday classes, holidays in the park, a rabbi at the hospital at two in the morning. Free to the people who come — not free to run. The annual campaign covers a year of all of it, and it peaks at our gala dinner. Partners at every level are thanked in the gala journal and keep the doors open for the next family that walks in not knowing anyone. This is the gift that says yes to everything else.

Other ways to give
I give monthly because I remember my first Friday here, when I knew nobody. Somebody paid for my seat that night. Now I pay for someone else's.
Questions about giving
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Chabad of First Light is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so your gift is tax-deductible to the extent the law allows. A receipt is emailed to you right away.
Can I dedicate my gift?
Yes. Add "in honor of" or "in memory of" and a name on the form, and we'll mention it at the next Shabbat kiddush if you like.
How do I change or stop a monthly gift?
Email or call the office and we'll change it the same day.
Is giving online secure?
Yes. Your card goes straight to our payment processor and never touches our website or our files.
Can I give in someone's name for a yahrzeit?
Of course. Many people give $18, $36 or $180 on a parent's yahrzeit. Choose "in memory of" and write their name.
